Activities of organization
Organization develops its activities mainly through grants.
In the past it carried out following projects:
Project to improve awareness about decentralization of public administration in the region of Novohrad - Gemer – Malohont
Goal: Increase of awareness of citizens about participation in elections. The organization was the leader.

Involving of citizens of Romany minority into activities to solve social problems
Goal: Implementation of the project contributed to solving of the problem of unemployed Romanies. The organization was the leader.

Come and decide – project for parliament elections 2002
Goal: Implementation of the project contributed to maximal participation in elections. The organization was the leader.

Protection of rare species of birds in the park of the town Lučenec – Green project
Goal: Through implementation of the project we contributed to the protection of birds. The organization was the leader.

Goal: Active information of citizens about the importance of municipality elections should increase participation in elections of municipality bodies. The organization was the leader.

Partner centre of non-governmental organizations Lučenec
Goal: Cooperation of non-governmental organizations and help in elaboration and implementation of projects in social sphere as well as in other fields of interest and providing common presentation of the activities of non-governmental organizations and other partners from Lučenec and surrounding. The organization was the leader.

Protected area Volavčia kolónia – Green project 2003
Goal: Project focused on protection of grey herons near the village of Rapovce. Project was carried out in cooperation with Secondary Grammar School B. S. Timrava in Lučenec.

Establishment of Information-educational centre in municipality Dobroč
Goal: Help the citizens of Dobroč and microregion Javor in Lučenec district to widen their knowledge about the development of microregion, to gain necessary information on Internet, possibilities of education of young people in using a computer and various programmes, as well as other education activities. The organization was the leader.

Goal: Protection of rare species of trees in Lučenci - Ginkgo biloba and Platanus hispanica.

Creation of local partnership with goal to lower effects of social exclusion on regional level in the district of Lučenec
Project Partnership of social inclusion of Lučenec district.
Goal
The main goal of the project was to identify, prepare and carry out programmes of preparation fro employment and work for socially most disadvantaged inhabitants, for the members of separated or segregated communities of Lučenec district, improve inclusion of groups in the risk and communities befallen by poverty within realized projects through creation of the Partnership of social inclusion of Lučenec district.
Priority of the project was to solve the problem of low employment rate in the district, social inclusion of marginalized groups and support of increase of their employability and reintegration in the labour market. Important aspect of the project was creation of partnerships of administration bodies, communities and other partnership institutions.

Looking for innovative solutions of problems on the labour market through partnership cooperation
Project is carried out with the support of European Union
Civil organization BOVAP carries out the project “Looking for innovative solutions of problems on the labour market through partnership cooperation” in cooperation with Regional development agency, Bureau of employment, social affaires and family Lučenec and United Secondary School of Services Lučnec within the EQUAL community.
The main goal is to look for new solutions and possibilities of employment of long time unemployed persons, persons with low qualification, graduates and persons over 50 in Novohrad region, which has quite high rate of unemployment, with help of partners of the development partnership.
Project priority
Facilitate the access and return to the labour market to the persons who have problems with integration and reintegration to the labour market.
Measures
Creation of the system of prevention and support in placement of the long time unemployed persons, persons with low qualification and other disadvantaged groups to the labour market.
Specific goal of the project
Suggested project determined as the priority goal lowering unemployment of marginalized groups through creation and search for new solutions to achieve this goal. Activities of the project are focused above all to realization of methods of individual work with members of the target group, indication, testing and diagnosing of the participants from the disadvantaged groups, looking for new forms of creation of employment through new forms of organization of entrepreneur activities as well as formation of new attitudes of employers towards these groups of registered unemployed. To achieve this goal have been prepared and carried out motivation and re-qualification courses for 300 participants of theoretic education and vocational training according to the demand of enterprises and of the labour market in cooperation with the Bureau of employment, social affaires and family and other partners of the development partnership.

New knowledge acquired in a new school – Reconstruction of the Primary School of the Hero Janko Čmelík in Stará Pazova

Brief characterization of the project:
Reconstruction of the Primary School of the Hero Janko Čmelík in Stará Pazova aims to improve material and technical conditions for education of pupils and to contribute this way to improvement of education process in the biggest Slovak enclave in Serbia and abroad. The Primary School was built in 1830 and further building works were carried out in 1950 and 1980. Present state of the buildings does not meet neither technical nor hygienic norms. Also the state of equipment in the classrooms and teachers´ rooms does not enable to provide good quality conditions for the pupils and teachers. Realization of the project will increase competitive strength of the schools and its credit in multiethnic environment. New modern equipment will enable to use modern education techniques and to prepare new generation for new pro-European direction of Serbia.
Project goal
Regarding stated priorities is the goal of the project to carry out one integrated stage of reconstruction of the Primary School of the Hero Janko Čmelík in Stará Pazova according to the elaborated project documentation and to achieve better in material and technical conditions for pupils and teachers and hereby to contribute to better quality of education process.
Project impact
Realized reconstruction of the Primary School will have immediate effect on quality of material and technical equipment of the school (construction of kitchen, new education rooms, appropriate toilets, elimination of the problems of static…). Final impact will be in out-of-school use of new spaces (culture and sport) also for public. New spaces after their modernization will be the starting point for achievement of better education results in the context of entrance of Serbia into EU and approaching European level of education.
